Getting started

  1. Choose a few school materials. Record where they are and where you want to find them after use.
  2. For ages about 6–12 with an adult; drawing and dictating are welcome. No new purchases are required: begin with existing spaces and containers.
  3. A row describes a material and an agreed place, not a tidiness score. Example: pencils, box on the table; after using them, gather them and return them there.
  4. An adult decides which items need supervision and checks furniture stability. Change an impractical arrangement; there is no need to fill every row. Notes for next time
